You may also wonder why we chose the ’13th’ as superstitions lead us to believe that the number thirteen is unlucky – we have used it to signify just how many people are unlucky enough to be diagnosed with cancer at some stage of their lives – and the percentage is horribly high, so the more we raise the more we can do to help those with a laryngectomee situation. Remember, each FVR (flexi-video-rhinolaryngoscope) we purchase costs approximately £15,000 each: your help is greatly appreciated my friends for you are saving lives & the power of speech. Thank you all.
